Natalie & Alfie
“Our 'IBD' dog took a turn for the worse when the manufacturer of his regular raw food de-listed the product. I was very worried and at a loss. I turned to Rachel and she got him back on track! She went out of her way to find a replacement food and supported us in getting him eating again and calming his symptoms. Alfie looks healthier than he has for a long time. We are very happy with - and grateful to - Peak Dog Nutrition & Wellness."

"Buster is thriving! Yesterday he was an absolute star. He passed his final assessment to be accepted as a trainee support dog with Support Dogs UK. His handler mentioned how he looked the best he has ever been. She also said that he is now listening more and all the itches and ear irritation has gone."
Fiona & Gromit
"I just wanted to thank you for your help; I doubt we would have managed to sort this on our own. It has been a huge learning curve with lots of new information about dog nutrition. Gromit has improved both physically and seems a much happier engaged dog. He looks younger, his coat is silky, no raw areas, no chomping on his paws or belly and he now sleeps deeply even with builders around! He is behaving better, sleeping deeper and is generally more curious. We have a much better relationship and I'm now armed with sorting his little blips out. Importantly he has managed with no Cytopoint injections for 3 months now. Training has become much easier as he is so engaged with his little searches for sprats and bits of meat in the garden."
Marie & Ruby
"We cannot thank Rachel enough. We were at the end of our tether with Ruby, our Boxer who had suffered for 18 months with horrendous allergies and health problems. She had been pumped full of medications and steroids so had gained a lot of weight and her coat was in a terrible condition. Then we found Rachel and with her expertise and guidance Ruby has been transformed. She is now off all meds and we have transitioned her to raw food and more holistic treatments. All veterinary clinics should have a Rachel. I cannot recommend her enough and will be forever grateful."
Foong & Remi
"This is my first time having a dog, and I thought it was very easy, just feeding the dog, walking the dog, and playing with it. I didn't expect my dog to be afraid of other dogs and become a fussy eater. So every time I go out for a walk and feed, it's the biggest headache for me. Ever since Remi's trainer told me that Remi might have pain, such as her stomach, she introduced Rachel to me. That's when I learned that Remi had gut imbalance. Remi has changed a lot since Rachel gave her a raw diet for 3 months. She not fussy anymore, looks healthier, and less afraid to other dogs. I am very grateful to Rachel for helping me. I'm feel much more confident and relaxed to feeding Remi, and she is much more healthier, happy and more confident. Thank you very much."
Amanda & Welly
"My dog Welly is ecstatic with his new diet. Whilst he didn't have any major digestive issues, he always seemed bored and would much rather scavenge. I had a clear meal plan from Rachel, she answered my many questions and always suggested solutions where I found it difficult to source something (I live outside the UK) or found one of the meal components problematic.
It's definitely a learning curve so the email support is a brilliant set up. Welly now eats every meal with pleasure and I no longer feel the need to give him extra treats or table scraps because his actual meals are what he really wants to eat. I don't have any freezer space for myself anymore, but Welly is worth it!"
Debbie & Bluebell
"We got our rescue dog Bluebell and it became clear that she had complex behavioural and physical issues. After lots of investigation we found that her anal glands were contributing to a number of those issues so we enlisted Rachel's services! She gave us a comprehensive guide including tips and products to overhaul Bluebell's diet and we've learnt loads about the impact of gut health, what to look for and how to manage her diet to improve those pesky glands and improve her overall health and wellbeing. Bluebell loved her new food and her condition has definitely improved. Her coat is glossy and her glands are now emptying properly and no longer require veterinary intervention. She's still got issues (!!) we're having to manage but this whole experience has really improved her day to day standard of life (and ours as a result). I can't recommend Rachel enough. She's regularly in touch via email to check in or answer questions - no matter how silly! The poop pic check in was really helpful! She's really kind and very knowledgeable."
Cat & Callie
"Rachel has been amazing at helping us improve our dog Callie's diet and health! Callie was very itchy and had lost a lot of fur on her tummy because of this. After 3 months the itching has settled significantly and her fur is now growing back. She had been on 2 courses of steroids this year and the vet was recommending further medication which we were keen to avoid if possible. We are now at a stage where we do not even need to consider going to the vet which we are very happy about. Callie had so much more energy on her walks within two weeks of starting her new diet, which was an unexpected bonus, and I have much better knowledge of what to feed her going forward. Rachel was very thorough, supportive and is obviously extremely knowledgeable. If you're considering using a dog nutritionist I would highly recommend! It's been one of the best things we have done for Callie's health! Thank you again Rachel!"
Claire & Bella
"Rachel has helped us so much with our very challenging chihuahua x terrier, Bella. We discovered she was having gut issues and her behaviour was greatly affected by this. Rachel helped us get Bella on to a diet that allowed her to thrive and it has made such a huge difference to her daily life, and ours. Bella struggled with some parts of the food trials along the way, and Rachel was always happy to come back with solutions and explain why it was happening and how to correct it. I have learnt so much through this process, and we have gone from a dog that randomly screamed because of gut issues and would never consistently eat meals and wouldn't have any interest in food for training, to a dog that is comfortable in her body and eats her 3 meals a day with enthusiasm and is now able to really think and focus when we are working on her problem areas with her behaviourist and will take food as a reward. Her fur is SO soft, she is just glowing!! If you have a challenging dog, I highly recommend working with Rachel to see what a difference a healthy gut makes, thank you so much for all of your help Rachel!"
Fern & Nala
"Rachel did a fantastic job in helping me round out my dog Nala's diet, making sure her diet is as diverse as possible and meets her nutritional needs. Nala's thriving now with her improved diet and I'm much more confident that her microbiome can handle her scavenging when out on walks, so thank you Rachel!"
Ria, Nam & Yoshi
"We just wanted to extend our sincere thanks for all your invaluable advice and guidance. `you've taught us so much, and now we feel far more confident in managing Yoshi's diet and addressing his fussiness.
It's been such a joy to see him eating his food happily, and we're also relieved to see a significant improvement in his itchiness.
We truly can't thank you enough."
Narissa, Sam & Astrid
"We can’t recommend Rachel and Peak Dog Nutrition highly enough! Working with her has completely transformed life for our dog, Astrid. From the very first consultation, Rachel’s warmth, knowledge, and genuine passion shone through.
Astrid had been struggling with behavioural issues we never realised could be linked to her diet. Rachel took the time to understand every part of her health, lifestyle, and personality, creating a plan that truly fit her needs, and ours. The difference has been incredible, Astrid is calmer, happier, and eating every meal (which was an issue prior to her new meal plan).
One of the outstanding aspects is Rachel’s holistic approach. She doesn’t just focus on diet, but the whole dog, which really aligns with our values. Her way of working has even inspired me to start exploring holistic dog therapy myself.
The ongoing support and genuine care have meant so much to us. If you’re thinking about nutritional support for your dog, we wholeheartedly recommend Peak Dog Nutrition. Rachel’s guidance has made a lasting difference in Astrid’s life, and ours!
Thanks again for all your help, we really do appreciate it."
Siobain & Remi
"We now have a Weimaraner who has a full coat of thick fur. A beautiful ruff around her neck which didn’t exist when she came to live with us.
She is no longer shaking her head and scratching her ears until they bleed.
Her mental health has really improved. She is now endlessly play fighting with our GSP. She has become an overgrown puppy who is no longer grumpy and reactive.
We are also now having to watch her weight because she started to get chunky!
Thank you again for your help and support. We have a happy girl which makes us very happy."
